Alloy 800ht tubing Core Performance

High-temperature mechanical properties: 1000℃/1000 hours sustained strength ≥40MPa, 900℃/100,000 hours creep limit approximately 12MPa, excellent high-temperature toughness, and no risk of embrittlement;

Corrosion resistance: Resistant to high-temperature oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization, with a dense surface oxide film, suitable for corrosive environments such as petrochemical and waste incineration;

The hot working temperature of Incoloy 800HT pipes is controlled between 1150-900℃. During processing, slow cooling in the sensitization range of 650-850℃ should be avoided to prevent sensitization embrittlement of the alloy. After processing, air cooling or water cooling should be used to ensure a uniform structure, its hot extrusion deformation can reach 80%, and the ovality of centrifugally cast furnace tubes is ≤1.2%D, with controllable dimensional accuracy.

Incoloy alloy 800ht pipe can undergo deep drawing, spinning, and sheet metal forming. Its hardening index n≈0.35, and after cold working, plasticity can be restored through solution heat treatment to avoid embrittlement caused by work hardening. In terms of machining, it is recommended to use carbide tools, employing a low-speed, high-feed machining method, combined with emulsion cooling, to reduce heat generation during processing and prevent surface oxidation and performance damage of the pipe.
