Stress Relaxation Performance: In applications such as bolted connections, Inconel 600 alloy pipe exhibits excellent stress relaxation resistance, enabling long-term preload maintenance and ensuring equipment sealing reliability.

Fatigue Performance: Inconel 600 alloy pipe exhibits excellent high-cycle fatigue and low-cycle fatigue performance, resulting in a long service life under thermal cycling conditions. Surface treatments such as shot peening can further enhance fatigue strength.

Cold Working Characteristics: The work hardening rate of Inconel 600 is significantly higher than that of ordinary stainless steel, making intermediate annealing a crucial step. Typically, each cold deformation pass is controlled between 15-30%. Intermediate annealing is required if the cumulative deformation exceeds 70%.

Annealing Process: Annealing temperatures range from 870-980°C, with a holding time determined by the pipe wall thickness. Rapid cooling (water quenching or forced air cooling) prevents carbide precipitation and ensures optimal corrosion resistance.

Stress Relief Annealing: For lightly cold-worked pipes, a lower temperature (approximately 650°C) stress relief annealing can be used to eliminate residual stresses while retaining work strength.
