Incoloy 825 pipe is suitable for a variety of conventional welding processes, such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW/TIG) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW/MIG). For optimal corrosion resistance, compatible nickel-based welding consumables, such as ERNiCrMo-3 wire, are generally recommended. Welding is generally performed in the annealed state, and no heat treatment is generally required before or after.

The suitable hot working temperature range is 1150-900°C. Annealing should be performed promptly after working to achieve optimal corrosion resistance and a suitable crystal structure.
