ASTM B163 UNS N06600 Tube is a nickel-chromium alloy used in applications requiring corrosion and high temperature resistance, with service temperatures ranging from cryogenic to high temperature of 2000°F. Inconel 600 is non-magnetic and has high strength and good weldability. The high nickel content in Inconel alloy 600 allows it to maintain considerable resistance under reducing conditions. Inconel also has excellent resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, as well as excellent resistance to alkaline solutions.
