2.4856 Inconel 718 AMS 5596 is a high strength, corrosion resistant, precipitation hardened nickel-chromium material. AMS 5596 specification covers nickel-chromium alloy plate and strip. Inconel 718 is non-magnetic. It has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and is used in components that require high creep and stress rupture resistance. It can be used up to 1300°F (704°C) and has oxidation resistance up to 1800°F (982°C).
