Inconel 625 Alloy Plate is made of a solid solution of nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy with additions of titanium and aluminum. It has good thermal stability at temperatures up to 980°C (1800°F). Ni Alloy 625 also has good resistance to oxidation and staining at high temperatures. Inconel Alloy 625 Plate Sheet Manufacturers Heat Treatment
Three main heat treatments:
- Solution annealed at 2000-2200°F (1093 – 1204°C), air or rapid quench. High-temperature annealing is used in applications above 1500°F where creep resistance is important.
- Air or rapid quench annealing at 1600-1900°F (927-1038°C). Medium temperature annealing provides optimal tensile and fracture properties at temperatures up to 1900°F (1038°C),
- Stress is relieved by air quenching at 1100-1600°F (593 – 900°C). The stress-relieved condition is recommended for applications below 1200°F (649°C) where maximum fatigue, hardness, and yield strength are required.
