Monel Alloy 400 Bar is composed of approximately 67% nickel and 33% copper, and has excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance, medium to high strength, and good weldability. ASTM B164 UNS N04400 is harder, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than pure nickel. Monel 400 Round Bar is used in many industries, especially marine and chemical processing.
- Acid Resistance: Excellent performance in dilute sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and organic acids.
