ASME SA 789 UNS S31803 is a duplex stainless steel that is available in both seamless and welded forms. Highly resistant to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride environments. Duplex 2205 has a higher yield strength than 316 austenitic stainless steel. SA789 S31803 's excellent fatigue strength makes it suitable for cyclic loading applications.
