Hastelloy B2 sheet is an outstanding achievement in the field of industrial materials to resist extreme reducing corrosion environments. Its outstanding performance in strong reducing acids such as concentrated hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid is unmatched. Hastelloy B2 sheet can provide long and reliable service life for key equipment and become a solid barrier to ensure production safety and continuity.

Chemical composition of alloy B2
Hastelloy B-2 sheet has a density of 9.24 g/cm³ and a melting point between 1330–1380℃. Its thermal expansion coefficient (13.6×10⁻⁶/℃ at 20–100℃) is significantly lower than that of austenitic stainless steel, making it suitable for equipment with frequent thermal cycles.
Hastelloy B2 Corrosion resistance
Excellent performance in hydrochloric acid, medium-concentration sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and organic acids, especially in high-temperature non-oxidizing acid environments (such as 150℃ hydrochloric acid).
Hastelloy N10665 Resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC)
Excellent resistance to chloride ion environments (such as seawater and chemical waste liquids). Room temperature yield strength ≥310 MPa, tensile strength ≥690 MPa, elongation>40%, taking into account both strength and plasticity.

Application of Hastelloy B2 alloy plate
Oil and gas: submarine pipelines, downhole tools for acid gas wells.
Chemical equipment: sulfuric acid reactors, phosphoric acid evaporators, pickling equipment.
Nuclear industry: containers and pipelines for nuclear waste treatment systems.
Marine engineering: seawater desalination devices, heat exchangers.
Environmental protection: key components of flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems.
Alloy N10665 Plate Hot working
It is recommended to roll or forge in the range of 980-1200℃, avoid staying in the hot brittle zone of 650-870℃, and require rapid cooling after processing to inhibit the precipitation of harmful phases.
N10665 plate Cold forming
Due to the high work hardening rate, the deformation needs to be controlled during cold bending or stamping, and complex forming is recommended to be annealed in stages.
