ASTM B409 Plate Sheet Service Temperatures
Alloy UNS N08800 is normally employed in service temperatures up to and including 1100°F (593°C). ASTM B409 UNS N08811, and Alloys UNS N08810 are normally employed in service temperatures above 1100°F (593°C) where resistance to creep and rupture is required, and they are annealed to develop controlled grain size for optimum properties in this temperature range.
ASME SB 409 800H /800 / 800HT Plate Properties
ASTM B409 UNS N08810 Sheet Plate is best machined when it is in the annealed condition. For best results with this material, it should be hot-forged, cold-rolled, or hot-rolled. ASTM B409 N08800 Sheet can be obtained in the form of rolled sheets, plates, and strips. Strips, sheets, or plates that are made from this material, are normally used where there is a need for resistance to rupture and creep.
