Corrosion resistance of Alloy C22
Compared with similar alloys such as Hastelloy C276, C22 significantly improves its resistance to intergranular corrosion by reducing carbon content and optimizing the ratio of molybdenum and tungsten. Experimental data show that in an acidic environment containing chloride ions (Cl⁻), the critical pitting temperature (CPT) of C22 can reach above 120°C, which is better than most nickel-based alloys.

Mechanical properties of Hastelloy N06022 Plate
The room temperature tensile strength of Hastelloy C22 pipe is usually not less than 690 MPa, the yield strength is ≥310 MPa, and the elongation is ≥45%.
Manufacture Process of Alloy N06022 Plate
Its processing requires cold rolling or cold drawing process. The hot forming temperature is recommended to be controlled in the range of 950-1180°C, and rapid cooling is required to avoid carbide precipitation. It is recommended to use matching ERNiCrMo-10 welding wire for welding, and strictly use inert gas protection (such as TIG welding) to prevent sensitization of the heat-affected zone. It is worth noting that solution treatment (1120-1175℃ water quenching) is required after processing to restore the toughness of the material.
