Why choose hastelloy x pipe?
hastelloy n06002 pipe High temperature stability and creep resistance
Endurance strength performance: In a high temperature environment of 870°C, Hastelloy X can still maintain an endurance strength of about 65 MPa, far exceeding ordinary stainless steel and most nickel-based alloys. This feature enables it to serve for a long time in extreme environments such as aircraft engine combustion chambers.
Creep control capability: At 815°C and 68.9 MPa, its creep rupture time can reach about 10,000 hours. At 870°C and 24.1 MPa stress, the creep rate is only 0.0003%/hour. This extremely low deformation rate ensures the dimensional stability of high-temperature piping systems in long-term service.
Strengthening mechanism: Molybdenum (8-10%) and tungsten (0.2-1.0%) improve lattice stability through solid solution strengthening mechanism, while cobalt (0.5-2.5%) optimizes high temperature phase composition, jointly building an anti-creep defense line.
alloy x tube Anti-oxidation and corrosion resistance
High temperature protection mechanism: Chromium content (20.5-23.0%) forms a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film on the surface, which keeps the material stable in oxidizing atmospheres up to 1200°C. This feature makes it excellent in industrial furnace radiation tubes and hot end components of aircraft engines.
Complex environment tolerance: In reducing atmospheres (such as cracking gas), high molybdenum content provides resistance to carburization and nitriding. In sulfur-containing environments (such as petrochemical exhaust gas), its corrosion resistance is significantly better than that of ordinary stainless steel.
Localized corrosion protection: Good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (Cl-SCC), making it an ideal choice for high-temperature pipelines on offshore platforms and coastal plants.
