- ASTM B677-21 2023 Edition: Standard Specification for Nickel-Iron-Chromium-Molybdenum and Iron-Nickel-Chromium-Molybdenum-Copper Seamless Pipe.
In its previous editions, ASTM B677 served as the standard specification for seamless pipe made from alloys such as ASTM B677 UNS N08904 (Alloy 904L). However, as ASTM International refined its definition and oversight processes, some grades were reassigned to different specifications.
Specifications A269 and A312/A312M
ASTM International has adopted definitions where certain grades, such as UNS N08904 previously in this specification, are identified as stainless steels because iron is the largest element by mass percentage in these grades. N08904 products previously covered in this specification are now covered by Specifications A269 and A312/A312M.
