ASTM A815 WPS S31803 45 LR ELBOW Properties
ASTM A815 S31803 45° LR elbow is made from Duplex 2205 stainless steel. SA 815 S31803 consists of approximately 22% chromium, 5.5% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, with nitrogen added. With a Pitting Resistance Equivalent (PRE) value of approximately 35, it resists localized pitting in chloride-containing environments. It is also stronger than austenitic stainless steels such as 304 and 316.

Standard
ASTM A815 WPS specifies seamless and welded pipe fittings made of duplex stainless steel, including elbows, tees, and reducers.
Elbow Specifications: SCH 40S 45° Long Radius (LR)
- Schedule (SCH) 40S refers to the wall thickness of the elbow, which is approximately medium thickness and is suitable for high and medium pressure applications.
- The radius of the long radius (LR) elbow is 1.5 times the nominal pipe size.
