ASME B16.9 is the standard for butt-weld fittings and covers various types and sizes of butt-weld fittings used for connection and reduction in piping systems. These fittings include elbows, tees, reducers, caps, etc. Overall dimensions, tolerances, ratings, testing, and marking for sizes NPS 1⁄2 to NPS 48 (DN 15 to DN 1200).
