EN 1.4410 / S32750 / 2507 Datasheet
UNS S32750 is a super duplex stainless steel also known as SAF 2507 or 1.4410. Super duplex 2507 contains Cr, Ni, Mo, N, Cu, W, S, etc. Therefore, the 2507 stainless steel sheet has the characteristics of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, and the super duplex 2507 sheet is suitable for corrosive environments such as seawater applications, chemical processing, and oil and gas industries.
1. Corrosion Resistance:
UNS S32750 exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and general corrosion in chloride-containing environments. It has higher corrosion resistance compared to standard duplex stainless steel, particularly in environments with high concentrations of chlorides, sulfuric acid, and hydrogen sulfide.
2. Mechanical Properties:
Tensile Strength: ≥ 800 MPa (116 ksi); Yield Strength: ≥ 550 MPa (80 ksi); Elongation: ≥ 15%; Hardness: ≤ 310 HB (Brinell hardness)
3. Physical Properties:
Density: 7.8 g/cm³; Melting Range: 1350-1380°C (2462-2516°F); Thermal Conductivity: 13.9 W/m·K (at 100°C); Electrical Resistivity: 0.8 µΩ·m
4. Weldability:
UNS S32750 is generally considered to be weldable. However, it requires careful attention to welding procedures and the selection of appropriate consumables to ensure optimal weld integrity and corrosion resistance.
