Monel K500 Material Properties

Yield strength is usually between 75,000 psi (about 517 MPa) and 110,000 psi (about 758 MPa)
Tensile strength is between 135,000 psi (about 931 MPa) and 160,000 psi (about 1103 MPa).

Nickel: about 63%
Copper: about 30%
Aluminum: about 2.7%
Iron: about 2%
Titanium: about 0.5%
Silicon: about 0.5%

Monel K500 Heat Treatment:

Aging: The nickel-copper alloy k500 is kept at around 600°C (1112°F) for several hours and then rapidly cooled, which will result in an increase in the alloy's strength and hardness, thereby improving its wear and corrosion resistance.
