ASTM A269 317 Stainless Steel Tubing is a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel with higher levels of chromium, nickel and molybdenum than standard stainless steel grades such as 304 and 316. SS 317 has excellent corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-containing environments, including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and sour gases. 1.4449 AISI 317 tubing has excellent oxidation resistance. 317 SS Tubing is suitable for chemical, oil and gas applications.
