17-4PH Stainless Steel Pipe is a precipitation hardened stainless steel grade with good corrosion resistance and strength to resist erosion by common corrosive factors such as acid, alkali, and salt water. AISI 630 can withstand temperatures up to 800°F. S17400 Material is known for its strength after heat treatment. 1.4542 stainless steel tube also has high resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good weldability. 1.4542 Stainless Steel Heat Treatment

Uniformly heat at 1742 – 2192°F (950 – 1200°C). After hot forming, it must be fully solution annealed, cooled to below 76°F (25°C), and aged at the required temperature.
The precipitation hardening process makes it hardened at low temperatures, and the corrosion resistance of 17-4 stainless steel pipe is also comparable to that of 15-4PH stainless steel pipe.
