Product Introduction

ASTM A269 TP 317L Seamless Tubing is a molybdenum-containing, low carbon content austenitic stainless steel that offers improved corrosion resistance compared to 304L and 316L stainless steels. Alloy 317L resists sulfuric acid concentrations up to 5% and temperatures up to 120°F (49°C). The low carbon provides resistance to sensitization during welding and other heat treatments. 317L is non-magnetic in the annealed condition. SS 317 pipe is available in custom cut sizes.
