ASTM A312 UNS S34700 Gas Pipe

ASTM A312 UNS S34700, also known as alloy 347 stainless steel, is a grade of austenitic stainless steel that is commonly used in high temperature applications. 1.4550 AISI 347 Tube Fabrication

• Welding: Readily weldable by most common methods, including TIG, MIG, and resistance welding. Pre- and post-weld heat treatment are typically not required.
• Machining: Machining of EN 1.4550 stainless steel can be challenging due to its work-hardening properties. Using proper tooling and machining techniques can improve efficiency.

 

SS 347 Seamless Pipe Hot Processing

• Temperature Range: Hot working should be performed in the range of 1150-950°C.
• Cooling: After hot working, the material should be rapidly cooled to prevent the formation of detrimental phases.
• Heat Treatment: Post-process annealing at 1010-1120°C, followed by rapid cooling, is recommended to restore optimal properties.
