UNS S31254 Heat Treatment:

A common heat treatment method for EN 1.4547 material is solution annealing. The process is usually carried out in the temperature range of 1050°C to 1150°C, followed by rapid cooling (usually water quenching or air cooling).

 

ASTM A213 254SMO Pickling Process:

Pickling is to immerse the 1.4547 tube in an acid solution to remove surface oxides, unqualified dimensional parts, welding residues and other contaminants. Pickling helps to improve the appearance, surface finish and corrosion resistance of stainless steel tubes.
