ASTM A213 TP316 Stainless Steel Tube contains molybdenum for excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. S31600 performs well in environments containing chlorides, sulfuric acid, and other corrosive chemicals. SS 1.4401/1.4436 can be used intermittently at temperatures up to 870°C and continuously up to 925°C, and also has good oxidation resistance. Seamless 316 tubes are made by perforating solid round billets to ensure high strength and pressure resistance.
