ASTM A213 316L Stainless Steel Tube is a low carbon, molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel. 316L is more resistant to general corrosion, pitting and crevice corrosion than traditional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as 304, especially in sour environments. A213 TP316L tube also provides higher creep strength, rupture stress and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. The recommended temperature range includes -425°F to 1,200°F (-255°C to 605°C).

Annealing temperature is generally 1040-1150°C, ASTM A213 316L stainless steel tube is annealed according to ASTM A213 specification, with uniform grain structure and maximum corrosion resistance.
