Alloy 31 Pipe Tube is a nickel, chromium and molybdenum stainless steel with additions of nitrogen and copper. UNS N08031 Alloy 31 has excellent corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, reducing and oxidizing media. Typically, 1.4562 Alloy 31 polished pipes have a PREN ≥ 48, which ensures high resistance to pitting corrosion.
