Alloy 20 Pipe Tube is an austenitic nickel-iron-chromium superalloy that combines copper with molybdenum, making it ideal for acidic environments, especially when handling large quantities of sulfuric, phosphoric, or nitric acids. The addition of niobium reduces the effects of carbide precipitation during Alloy 20cb3 welding and improves the alloy's resistance to intergranular corrosion. ASTM B464 UNS N08020 welded pipe is often used to address SCC issues that may occur with 316L stainless steel.
