Product Introduction

Alloy C2000 tube has a high chromium content to maximize its resistance to oxidation products (iron ions and dissolved oxygen contaminated environments). Hastelloy C2000 alloy resists many corrosive chemicals including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and hydrofluoric acid. N06200 is harder than most austenitic stainless steels. ASTM B619 N06200 EFW pipe fully solution annealed followed by water quenching is the first choice for cold working alloys before welding.

Hastelloy C2000 Properties

High Temperature Resistance: Hastelloy pipe has excellent strength and excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures compared to other alloys such as stainless steel or copper-nickel. It can be used in applications where the temperature exceeds 1000°F (538°C).
Weldability: Excellent weldability also allows easy assembly of components such as elbows, bends or tees, flanges or fittings, reducing installation time while providing excellent results.
