Alloy B3 UNS N10675 Plate is produced to ASTM B333 specifications and is hot or cold rolled, solution annealed, and descaled. 2.4600 Hastelloy B3 Plate has good weldability and can produce high quality welds using conventional arc welding processes. Nickel Alloy B2 Strip has good corrosion resistance and can be used in applications involving phosphoric and acetic acids as well as a range of organic acids. Alloy B3 has significantly better thermal stability, machinability, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking than Alloy B-2.

2.4600 Hastelloy B3 Heat Treatment

Alloy can be hot forged and cold worked.
Typical heat treatment:

• Forging: 1230-980°C
• Solutioning: 1060°C
• Water or rapid air cooling
