Alloy 825 pipe is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with copper, molybdenum and titanium added. It has excellent corrosion resistance in environments such as oxidizing and reducing conditions. Alloy 2.4858 is particularly resistant to sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid. Incoloy 825 also has excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and intergranular corrosion caused by various chemicals. Incoloy 825 pipe has good mechanical properties at low to medium high temperatures (540°C).
