Incoloy 800H is a high-performance solid solution-strengthened high-temperature alloy based on the nickel-iron-chromium system. Its unique chemical composition combination gives it excellent high-temperature stability. The nickel content of the alloy is maintained between 30-35%, the chromium content is controlled in the range of 19-23%, the most important thing is that its carbon content is strictly limited to 0.05-0.10%.

alloy 800 tube Hot working process

Hot forming (piercing, extrusion) above 1850°F, avoid processing in the brittle range of 1200-1600°F. After completion, rapid water cooling is required to prevent σ phase precipitation.

inconel 800 welding Solution heat treatment

Carried out at 2100-2200°F (1150-1200°C), the holding time is calculated according to the wall thickness (usually 60 minutes per inch of thickness) to ensure complete recrystallization and carbide dissolution.

Pickling uses HNO₃/HF mixed solution to remove heat treatment oxide scale. The final surface should have a uniform silver-white metallic luster without residual oxidation spots.
