Incoloy 800H (UNS N08810) is an iron-nickel-chromium-based austenitic heat-resistant alloy pipe, designed for high-temperature oxidation, carburizing and creep environments, and widely used in high-temperature pipeline systems in petrochemical, nuclear power, energy and other fields. It significantly improves long-term high-temperature service performance through optimized carbon content control (0.05%-0.10%) and stabilized heat treatment process.

Chemical composition of alloy 800h
The chemical composition of Incoloy 800H pipe is based on nickel (30%-35%), chromium (19%-23%) and iron (balance), and titanium (0.15%-0.60%), aluminum (0.15%-0.60%) and trace carbon (0.05%-0.10%) are added.

Physical properties of 800H incoloy steel pipe
Incoloy 800H pipe has a density of 7.95 g/cm³, a melting point between 1350℃ and 1400℃, a thermal expansion coefficient of 14.4×10⁻⁶/℃ (20-100℃), and a thermal conductivity of 11.8 W/(m·K) at 100℃.
mechanical properties of N08810 Pipe
Its high-temperature mechanical properties are particularly outstanding: the tensile strength remains at about 450 MPa at 600℃, and the long-term fracture strength at 800℃ can reach 60 MPa (design life 10,000 hours). In an oxidizing atmosphere, it can withstand temperatures as high as 1100℃, and the long-term use temperature can reach 850℃, and its anti-carburization ability is significantly better than that of traditional stainless steel pipes.

Hot working of Alloy N08810 Steel Pipe
The recommended hot forming temperature range is 900℃ to 1200℃, and the final forging temperature is not less than 850℃. Avoid staying in the range of 650℃ to 870℃ to prevent the precipitation of σ phase. The deformation amount needs to be controlled during cold working. Cold deformation exceeding 15% requires intermediate annealing (1050℃-1150℃ water cooling) to eliminate residual stress.
Welding technology Incoloy 800H N08810 tube
TIG (argon arc welding), MIG (gas shielded welding) or submerged arc welding can be used, and ERNiCr-3 or FM 82 is preferred for welding materials. The surface oxide needs to be cleaned before welding, and the interlayer temperature is controlled to be ≤150℃. Stabilization treatment (890℃-930℃ insulation for 1-2 hours) is recommended after welding to improve the intergranular corrosion resistance of the heat-affected zone.
