UNS N06625 is a nickel-chromium alloy, Alloy 625 Tubing has high strength characteristics and high temperature resistance. The service temperature range is from cryogenic to 980°C (1800°F). 2.4856 Inconel 625's strength comes from the solid solution strengthening of molybdenum and niobium in its nickel-chromium matrix. SB444 UNS N06625 also exhibits excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance. The ability to withstand high stresses and resist corrosion in highly acidic environments makes it ideal for nuclear and marine applications.

Heat Treatment Processing Notes:
Solution annealing to 2000 °F (1093 °C) minimum, may be followed by stabilization annealing. Anneal to 1800 °F (982 °C) minimum to improve resistance to sensitization.
