Inconel 601 Plate is a nickel-chromium alloy with strong resistance to high temperature oxidation and corrosion. 2.4851 Alloy 601 Plate is used in aerospace, chemical processing and petrochemical industries for medium to high temperature applications. It is also commonly used in low temperature environments containing chlorides. N06601 plates and sheets are available in different specifications such as surface finish, end finish, dimensions, shape, size, toughness and length. They can be made to customized specifications as per customer's expectations.

Inconel 601 Temperature Limits

Continuous Service Temperature: Inconel 601 plate can typically be used continuously at temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F).
Oxidizing Atmospheres: In an oxidizing atmosphere (in the presence of oxygen), Nickel Inconel 601 can withstand temperatures up to 1175°C (2150°F).
Reducing Atmospheres: Alloy 601 performs well in reducing atmospheres (lack of oxygen) and can withstand temperatures up to 980°C (1800°F).
