Melting and casting of Alloy x

Vacuum induction melting (VIM) or electroslag remelting (ESR) technology is used to reduce impurity elements (such as sulfur and phosphorus) and improve the purity of the material.

 

Hot rolling and cold rolling of Alloy N06002

The initial billet is initially formed by high-temperature hot rolling (temperature range of about 980℃-1200℃), and then the grain is refined and the surface accuracy is improved by cold rolling. Carbon steel tool contamination should be avoided during processing.

 

Heat treatment of X alloy Plate

Solution annealing (usually 1175℃-1200℃ insulation followed by rapid air cooling) can eliminate processing stress, homogenize the structure, and restore the toughness of the material.

 

Surface treatment of Hastelloy X Sheet

The finished plate needs to be pickled or mechanically polished to remove the oxide scale to ensure that the surface finish meets the requirements of ASTM B435 and other standards.
