Alloy 600 plate High temperature oxidation and carburization resistance
- High temperature guardian: In air environment, its oxidation resistance can last up to about 1175°C (2150°F). When the continuous use temperature is up to 1093°C (2000°F), it can still maintain structural integrity, far exceeding most stainless steels and alloy steels.
- Carburization barrier: In carburizing atmospheres (such as petrochemical cracking furnaces), Inconel 600 forms a dense and stable chromium oxide (Cr2O3) protective layer, which effectively blocks the invasion of carbon atoms, prevents material embrittlement and failure, and ensures long-term stable operation of equipment.
Inconel 600 Plate Corrosion resistance
- Stress corrosion cracking: Especially in chloride ion environments (such as hot brine, steam), it performs much better than 304/316 stainless steel.
