Duplex 2205 Pipe has high chromium (22-23%) and molybdenum (3%) content, provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking, which are common problems in seawater. With a yield strength approximately twice that of austenitic stainless steels such as 316L, Duplex S32205 is durable and resilient under high stress conditions, which is critical in turbulent seawater applications.
