Hastelloy X sheet is an excellent solution that has been proven in the field of high temperature engineering for decades. At continuous working temperatures up to 1200°C (2192°F), it can still maintain strength and creep resistance (slow plastic deformation) far exceeding that of ordinary stainless steel and many nickel-based alloys.

  • High temperature oxidation: In air environments, it can be used stably for a long time at up to 1175°C (2150°F), with an extremely low oxidation rate, and the protective oxide layer formed on the surface effectively prevents further erosion.
  • Carburizing/nitriding: In carbon-containing (such as carburizing atmosphere) or nitrogen-containing environments, it exhibits excellent resistance to avoid material embrittlement and failure.
  • Reducing sulfide corrosion: In reducing atmospheres such as sulfur-containing flue gas, the corrosion resistance is significantly better than many austenitic stainless steels.
