Monel400 is a comprehensive corrosion-resistant alloy with large usage and wide application. Alloy 400 pipe is resistant to corrosion by neutral solutions, water, seawater, air, organic matter, etc. N04400 material is resistant to corrosion in hydrochloric acid, fluorine gas, hydrochloric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid with a concentration value below 85%. At the same time, it is more corrosion-resistant than copper-based alloys in seawater. The temperature of Monel400 in continuous operation in air is generally around 600℃.

Monel 400 Heat Treatment
The quenching temperature should be adjusted to 700-900℃, and rapid air cooling is strongly recommended to obtain corrosion resistance.

Due to the high strength and work-hardening tendency of the 2.4360 material, machining 2.4360 monel 400 is more challenging than machining conventional materials.
