Acidic environment

Monel 400 pipe performs well in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and hydrofluoric acid, especially under low concentration acidic conditions, the corrosion rate is significantly lower than that of stainless steel.

Seawater and salt spray environment

Alloy N04400 pipe has strong resistance to seawater, chloride solution and salt spray corrosion, and almost no pitting or crevice corrosion occurs. It is suitable for offshore platform pipelines, seawater desalination equipment, etc.

High temperature corrosion

In high temperature environments below 480°C, it can still maintain stable anti-oxidation and anti-carburization properties, and can serve for a long time in heat exchangers and high temperature reactors.
