Alloy 317 317L Material Datasheet
Alloy S31700 S31703 have excellent corrosion resistance, especially in environments containing sulfuric, acetic and formic acids. The higher molybdenum content (3-4%) compared to SS 316/316L enhances resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. In addition, 317L Stainless Steel Pipe is a low carbon version of 317, which minimizes carbide precipitation during welding and enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion.
