2.4061, also known as Nickel 201 (UNS N02201), is a low-carbon modification of Nickel 200. It retains the excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of Nickel 200 but offers improved resistance to graphitization and better suitability for applications involving exposure to temperatures above 315°C (600°F). This makes ni201 particularly valuable in applications requiring high purity and where high temperatures are involved.
