ASTM A312 TP321 is a specification for seamless, straight-seam welded, and heavily cold worked welded austenitic stainless steel pipes intended for high-temperature and general corrosive service. Alloy 321 is a stabilized stainless steel which offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range from 800 to 1500°F (427 to 816°C). Good resistance in a wide range of environments, including oxidizing and moderately reducing environments.
