AISI 316L EN 1.4404 stainless steel tube high chromium and molybdenum content significantly enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments. With a maximum carbon content of 0.03%, Alloy 316L is less prone to carbide precipitation during welding, which maintains its corrosion resistance even after welding. The nickel content improves its overall durability and toughness, even at low temperatures. This alloy s31603 remains non-magnetic in its annealed condition.
