S32100 material also has excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing acid and alkaline environments. 321 SS tubing is available in both seamless and welded forms. ASTM A269 321 High Temperature Resistance:
AISI 321 can withstand temperatures up to 900°C (1652°F) without loss of structural integrity. It resists oxidation and scaling when exposed to intermittent temperatures up to 800°C (1472°F).
SS321 Weldability:
1.4541 can be easily welded using common techniques such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas Welding) or MIG (Metal Inert Gas Welding).
