ASTM A312 TP304H Pipe is an austenitic stainless steel with a higher carbon content, is a high carbon version of the 304 stainless steel alloy. Typically ranging from 0.04% to 0.10%, compared to the standard 304 stainless steel, which has a maximum carbon content of 0.08%. The "H" in alloy 304H denotes its higher carbon content, which enhances its high-temperature strength and creep resistance. This makes 304H stainless steel pipes suitable for use in applications where elevated temperatures are encountered, such as in high-temperature processing equipment, heat exchangers, and industrial furnaces.
