The advantage of S31050 lies in its excellent high-temperature performance. This is mainly due to its exquisite chemical composition, high content of chromium (about 24-26%) and nickel (about 19-22%), supplemented by a moderate amount of silicon (about 1.5%). S31050 pipe can maintain excellent oxidation resistance at continuous operating temperatures up to 1150°C, and can even withstand higher temperature peaks in intermittent applications.
