UNS S31254 6MO Tubing is mainly composed of about 20% chromium, 18% nickel, 6% molybdenum and 0.2% nitrogen, with copper and manganese added. The presence of high molybdenum and nitrogen significantly improves the ability of 6MO UNS S31254 Stainless Steel Pipe materials to resist pitting, crevice corrosion and chloride stress corrosion cracking, especially suitable for high chloride ion environments.
