ASTM A240 347 Steel Plate is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel, these plates are made of 17-19% chromium and 9-13% nickel, with small additions of molybdenum and niobium. S34700 stainless steel plate has good corrosion resistance, especially against sensitization and intergranular corrosion. 1.4550 is usually supplied in the annealed state, and can be heat treated to increase strength and hardness. 347 stainless steel has a temperature range of 800-900°C, it can withstand prolonged exposure to temperatures up to 800-900°C (1472-1652°F) without significant loss of mechanical properties.
