EN 1.4541, is an austenitic stainless steel grade that is widely recognized for its excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature stability. The addition of titanium in this alloy is critical, this material is particularly noted for its superior resistance to intergranular corrosion following exposure to temperatures in the chromium carbide precipitation range of 800–1500°F (427–816°C). Alloy 321 stainless steel plate has higher creep and stress rupture properties than 304 and 304L stainless steel plate.
