1.4845 stainless steel, also known as AISI 310S, is a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent high-temperature properties and exceptional corrosion resistance. This material is particularly well-suited for high-temperature applications due to its ability to retain strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1100°C (2012°F). High chromium and nickel content provides outstanding resistance to oxidation and scaling, enhances the steel's resistance to carburization.
